As a Consultant, you will work in our client projects from day one on the integration of production systems in GxP-regulated manufacturing: MES and other Level 3 systems, historians, workflow platforms and ERP.

You will work closely with the founders and senior colleagues and take over defined work packages: process analyses, interface specifications, data models, and test documentation. At the same time, you will help build Memo3's Manufacturing IT offering and connect it with our MTP and modular production work.

Key Responsibilities

Support the design of integration architectures between automation (Level 2), MES and other Level 3 systems, and ERP (Level 4) based on ISA-95
Specify and test interfaces for orders, materials, recipes, equipment status, and electronic batch records
Contribute to the integration of modular plants and process orchestration layers (POL) with MES

Historian & Manufacturing Data

Configure and connect historians and data sources for process, batch, and equipment data (e.g. AVEVA PI, Aspen IP.21)
Contribute to data models and contextualization for reporting, analytics, and continued process verification
Work with OPC UA, MQTT, and Unified Namespace concepts

Process Analysis & Solution Design

Analyze production and quality processes on the shop floor and document as-is workflows, pain points, and data flows
Translate process requirements into solution concepts and identify the right system layer (automation, MES, historian, workflow platform, or ERP)
Define to-be processes, user requirements, and fit-gap analyses for system selection and implementation

Project Delivery

Own defined work packages within client projects and report progress, effort, and open points
Prepare, co-facilitate, and document workshops with production, automation, IT, and QA stakeholders
Write requirements, functional specifications, and test documentation

Compliance

Apply GAMP 5, data integrity requirements (ALCOA+), 21 CFR Part 11, and EU GMP Annex 11, with guidance where needed
Support risk-based testing together with our validation consultants

About us

We are Memo3 GmbH, an engineering and consulting company for modular and digital production in the process industry, founded in 2024 and based in Eschborn near Frankfurt. We combine process engineering, automation, plant design, and Manufacturing IT to deliver plug-and-produce production systems that reduce engineering effort, commissioning time, and time to market.

Our focus is on Pharma 4.0, MTP (Module Type Package), modular production, and digitalization. We build solutions that let production modules be integrated, commissioned, qualified, and operated in a flexible and scalable way. We cover the full lifecycle – from strategy and concept through engineering, FAT/SAT, and commissioning to qualification and operations support. We are a COPA-DATA partner and work with a wide range of automation platforms, including Siemens and Beckhoff. Our customers come from life sciences, food & beverage, and other process industries across Europe.

At Memo3 you join a small, hands-on team. You work directly with customers, take ownership early, and help shape how we build our services.
