About Montauk Climate

Montauk Climate is an investment management platform today spanning venture investing, private credit, and venture studio efforts. We build, invest, and unlock capital in category leading companies. We focus on backing tech companies in the ‘Electron Economy,’ the massive shift toward software-enabled industrial and energy systems. This generational transition is reshaping how we power intelligence, move people and goods, and build resilient industries. From AI, data centers and Web3 to industrial robotics and re‑shoring supply chains, the future of growth is built on electrification and the intelligent use of energy.

This transition requires reimagining how major economic sectors operate, creating unique opportunities for technology companies to accelerate, optimize, and shape the future. We leverage deep expertise in emerging technologies, capital markets, infrastructure, and sustainability to drive exceptional outcomes.

Our Venture Fund I, currently fundraising, will invest in software/AI-driven, CapEx-light tech companies within the energy transition, industrial efficiency and resilience, and climate tech spaces. Our private credit platform focuses on climate, electrification and adaptation. Our venture studio identifies untapped technological potential and develops these concepts into new businesses, having launched 10+ ventures to date. Together, these efforts form a powerful flywheel: by building companies, investing in their growth, and providing capital to leading tech businesses, each success reinforces the next.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring our first Head of Investor Relations, to drive our fundraising across strategies and fund types. This is a critical role that will harness our strong relationships across the investor landscape, capitalize on strong fundraising momentum, and channel the interest in participation in our Venture Fund I, private credit fund, and portfolio companies. You will manage relationships across a wide range of allocator and investor types, bringing institutional‑level expertise while remaining hands‑on across every aspect of capital formation. You’ll also represent Montauk in thought leadership around some of the most important topics across technology and climate, serving as a visible face of the firm and its portfolio. Working closely with our leadership team, you’ll establish the IR function and grow it into a best‑in‑class platform. This is a chance to shape and scale a function of central importance to Montauk’s success, with the full support of our team and network.

Events and Engagement: Lead the planning and execution of investor‑facing events, such as LP meetings, AGMs, and targeted roadshows.
