The Role

At Sovos, we're building the next generation of embedded compliance partnerships with the world's leading software platforms. As a Senior Sales Executive in our Global Embedded ISV Sales team, you'll recruit, develop, and close strategic partnerships with Independent Software Vendors who want to embed our compliance capabilities into their products. This is a senior individual contributor role for a consultative seller who can operate at the intersection of commercial strategy, product management, and technology, leading product-oriented discovery and translating regulatory needs into compelling embedded use cases. Based in Europe with a global remit, you'll own a portfolio of target ISV opportunities and drive scalable, long-term revenue for Sovos.

More Specifically, You Will

Recruit and acquire global ISV partners by building relationships with Product Strategy, Product Management, platform, and commercial leaders who can embed Sovos compliance products into their software platforms and distribute them through their own go-to-market motions.
Own the full sales cycle for strategic embedded ISV opportunities, from target identification and executive outreach through product-led discovery, solution alignment, business-case development, commercial negotiation, and contract close.
Lead structured discovery with product stakeholders to understand customer problems, target markets, product vision, roadmap priorities, build-versus-buy considerations, platform architecture, and monetisation goals, leveraging AI tools to improve discovery efficiency and insight generation.
Translate regulatory requirements and market opportunities into differentiated product propositions, embedded use cases, joint value narratives, and clear outcomes for the ISV and its customers.
Partner with Embedded Solution Architecture, Sales Engineering, Product Management, and engineering stakeholders to shape solution scope, validate technical feasibility, clarify API and integration patterns, and align documentation, testing, implementation, and support expectations.
Build alignment across the ISV's product, technical, commercial, and executive teams, helping stakeholders navigate trade-offs amongst roadmap timing, customer experience, implementation effort, economics, and speed to market.
Drive pipeline creation and revenue growth across assigned ISV accounts while maintaining accurate opportunity plans, forecasts, stakeholder maps, technical and commercial risks, next steps, and close plans using AI-assisted workflows where applicable.

What You Bring to Sovos

This role requires: recruiting and closing strategic ISV partnerships, leading product-oriented discovery with software companies, and driving scalable embedded revenue. If you've done this in enterprise software, SaaS sales, or strategic partnerships, you'll have a head start.
You can build credibility and alignment with product, engineering, and commercial leaders at software companies.
You lead product-oriented discovery, connecting customer needs, market trends, and regulatory requirements to a compelling business and solution case.
You're fluent in SaaS product strategy, platform ecosystems, and embedded software models. Familiarity with API-led products and AI-assisted workflows is a plus.
You engage credibly in architecture and integration discussions, ask effective discovery questions, interpret technical constraints, and translate them into commercial implications.
You communicate exceptionally well in writing and verbally, crafting product value narratives, executive-ready presentations, solution briefs, opportunity plans, commercial proposals, and internal business cases.
You take ownership of outcomes, move with urgency, use sound judgement, and operate effectively in a matrixed environment, and you're willing to travel for partner meetings, executive sessions, industry events, and internal planning as needed.
Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire.
