Air Freight Operator

Location: Hamburg, Germany
Salary: €50k – €55k + Benefits

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Air Freight Operator to join an established international logistics business in Hamburg .

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in Air Export operations who is confident managing shipments from booking through to final destination.

You will work closely with customers, airlines, overseas agents and transport partners, taking ownership of international air freight movements and ensuring a high level of service throughout.

Key Responsibilities

Managing end-to-end Air Export shipments
Booking freight with airlines and arranging collections
Preparing and checking air freight documentation, including AWBs
Liaising with customers, airlines, agents and transport partners
Tracking shipments and providing proactive customer updates
Supporting customs and export documentation
Resolving operational issues efficiently
Ensuring shipments are handled accurately and on time

Requirements

Previous experience within Air Freight Forwarding
Strong, hands-on experience handling Air Export shipments
Good knowledge of Air Export procedures and documentation
Experience dealing with airlines, customers and overseas agents
Strong organisational and communication skills
Proactive, customer-focused and comfortable managing multiple shipments
