Position Summary

The role is a remote supplier delivery assurance specialist based in the Phoenix, AZ area. The position requires significant on‑site travel and active collaboration with suppliers, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to improve on‑time delivery performance.

Location and Travel

• Remote work from the Phoenix, AZ area.
• Must live in the Phoenix, AZ area.
• Travel up to 80% of time within the Phoenix, AZ area, with approximately 20% of work performed from a home office.

Responsibilities

• Identify bottleneck and capacity constraints to develop improvement and mitigation plans for on‑time delivery from suppliers.

• Develop a vision of the big picture and understand how enhancing operational effectiveness supports organizational performance.

• Drive results by consistently pursuing ways to accomplish goals and objectives, demonstrating determination, self‑motivation, and interpersonal skills to satisfy customer needs.

• Build a strong understanding of products and operational processes at suppliers.

• Generate and seize opportunities to break functional, operational, and logistical barriers to product shipment.

• Remove barriers to business goals specific to on‑time delivery of parts.

• Lead tasks/projects to completion, including collecting Lead Indicator data (RM availability, on order, WIP tracking, quality notifications, sub‑tier supplier tracking).

• Manage multiple projects and interact with several departments and management levels simultaneously.

• Assist with process improvement projects, prioritize work, and support the needs of the core operating system.

• Apply a project management approach and process improvement discipline to lead projects according to plan, including risk identification and mitigation.

• Gather feedback and identify new improvement projects in conjunction with Supplier Development Leaders.

• Actively participate in Commodity Days, EMMs, and SEMO (Supplier Executive Management Overviews) and co‑lead with customers and Supplier Development Leaders on respective supplier engagements.

• Must be able to travel up to 80% of time within Phoenix, AZ area.

• On‑site at suppliers 80% of time.

• 20% of time working from home office.

Minimum Qualifications

• A college degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of prior delivery assurance, supply chain, or related experience; or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Must reside in the Phoenix, AZ area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

• Quick learner who grasps the essence of situation and can change course rapidly.

• Builds strong relationships with peers and partners outside of team to enable higher performance.

• Openly considers others’ ideas, analyzes them, and develops innovation into reality.

• Flexible, enthusiastic self‑starter.

• Proficient in SAP and Qlik/Power BI.

• Experience working with cross‑functional teams.

Compensation

Salary range: $86,800 - $165,200 USD. Compensation is determined by role, responsibilities, experience, education, and key skills.
