The Technical University Of Munich (TUM) Invites Applications For 4 Professorships In Aerospace To Begin In Winter Semester 2027/28. We Are Hiring On All Career Levels (W2 Tenure Track Assistant Professor, With Tenure Track To W3, Or Tenured W3, Associate Or Full Professor).

The professorship will be assigned to the TUM Department of Aerospace and Geodesy at the TUM School of Engineering and Design. Interested candidates are highly encouraged to examine current professorships to assess their complementary strengths and potential collaborations across the Department
The responsibilities include research and teaching as well as the promotion of early-career scientists. We seek to appoint experts in the above-mentioned research areas who will introduce and develop innovative ways to accelerate the School's mission of addressing some of the most pressing challenges of our time and achieving scientific impact. Teaching responsibilities include courses in the university's bachelor and master programs.
We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated excellent achievements in research and teaching in an internationally recognized scientific environment, relative to the relevant career level (please see for further information).
A university degree and an outstanding doctoral degree or equivalent scientific qualification, as well as pedagogical aptitude, are prerequisites. Substantial research experience abroad is expected.
