5G Software Integration Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you coordinate and drive the integration of wireless technologies into the overall product platform, ensuring seamless interaction between hardware, firmware and software. You will serve as the technical focal point for cross‑functional collaboration among RF, software, hardware and product teams, solving complex issues and guiding verification, validation and release readiness. You’ll maintain system‑level documentation and contribute to test automation and CI/CD to improve stability. This is a hands‑on role with impact on product quality and development efficiency, in a dynamic, international environment.

• Coordinate integration of wireless technologies into the product platform
• Ensure interoperability between hardware, firmware, and software across the development lifecycle
• Act as technical focal point for RF, software, hardware and product teams
• Drive resolution of complex technical issues and support root cause analysis
• Support system qualification, validation, and release readiness activities
• Maintain and enhance system-level documentation (architecture, interfaces, integration concepts)
• Contribute to system integration, test automation, and CI/CD processes
• Identify technical risks early and support mitigation across projects

• Master’s degree in Computer Science (or comparable technical discipline)
• Experience with complex embedded, distributed, and communication‑driven systems in a system integration or engineering role
• Proven software integration, system engineering, and end‑to‑end system validation expertise
• Good understanding of mobile communications, networking concepts, and Linux‑based environments
• Experience with Kotlin and C++ and system‑level debugging methodologies
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks, CI/CD processes, and modern software development practices
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for cross‑functional challenges
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in international teams; fluent English; German a plus
