What you’ll do

• Operate the Airbus A220 in accordance with company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and best safety practices.
• Execute thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and fuel management for efficient, on-time operations.
• Apply strong CRM and decision-making in normal and non-normal operations.
• Deliver a professional, customer‑centric experience that reflects Lufthansa Group quality.
• Contribute to a positive cockpit culture and continuous improvement in safety and performance.
• Support training, checking, and standardization initiatives as required.

Minimum qualifications

• Licences: EASA Frozen ATPL (ATPL theory credit), IR, MCC, ME, and UPRT
• Medical: EASA Class 1
• English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
• Type rating: Valid EASA A220 or A320 type rating (current and type‑rated required)
• Flight time: Minimum 500 hours total time on CS‑25 turbine aircraft
• Course completion: MCC or MPL with Phase 4 completed
• Education: General higher education entrance qualification or equivalent
• Right to work: EU citizenship or unrestricted EU residence and work permit
• Passport: Unlimited validity; if non‑EU passport, no stricter entry restrictions than an EU passport
