Account Manager, Affiliate Marketing

Position Overview

The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in the day‑to‑day execution of client programs, partnering with Client Services teams and our Center of Excellence (COE) to deliver social‑first marketing strategies that meet client goals. Account Managers manage the VN process, oversee campaign execution, and lead Account Coordinators and Account Executives from project initiation through successful campaign delivery.

What You’ll Do Here

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain a solid understanding of influencer, affiliate, and social media marketing, staying current on industry trends.
• Translate clients’ goals into actionable tasks and manage outcomes.
• Exhibit proficiency in influencer management, affiliate partner management, CRM systems, mass email design, ongoing performance tracking, and reporting.
• Execute and oversee strategies including influencer marketing, affiliate strategy, CRM strategy, and community management.
• Develop email newsletters for affiliates, outlining exclusive offers and marketing expectations in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Provide effective project management, preparing status reports for clients.
• Maintain meticulous process control to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Work within account budget parameters and assist with budget management.
• Participate in the presentation process, including research, audits, and proposal development.
• Develop and grow the team to meet client demands and expectations.
• Oversee influencer marketing campaigns through VN’s proprietary platform.

You’ll Need To Have

• At least 3 years of experience in advertising services, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, or related fields.
• Experience working as part of an inter‑agency team (IAT).
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing client programs.
• Experience managing affiliate programs with total revenue exceeding $1M.
• Direct experience with CRM and mail merge tools and platforms.
• Proficiency in complex Excel/Google Sheet processes, formulas, and script integration.
• A passion for and deep understanding of influencer and affiliate marketing.
• Strong delegation skills and the ability to elevate and review junior staff work.
• A proactive mindset and confidence in managing upwards.
