Account Manager, Service

In this role you serve as the customer liaison, ensuring accurate order processing, timely communication, and excellent service. You’ll coordinate with sales, logistics, and production to safeguard delivery timelines and resolve issues. You’ll operate within trade-compliance guidelines to support international and domestic shipments. This position offers the opportunity to strengthen key customer relationships and influence service quality across a global manufacturing network.

• Receive and process customer orders and inquiries for items/products
• Maintain ongoing relationships with assigned customers and commercial partners
• Ensure orders are entered correctly with realistic delivery dates
• Provide standard pricing, availability, and scheduling information
• Act as communication link between customers and commercial teams
• Track order activity and alert stakeholders of potential delivery problems
• Partner with Logistics to expedite deliveries
• Utilize knowledge of products, sales territories, and customers for effective communication
• Maintain high levels of customer service with low complaint rates
• Collaborate with Production Control, Purchasing, and Shipping to meet customer needs
• Possess basic knowledge of export order processing including ocean/air regulations and NAFTA/FTAs

• High School Diploma required
• 2-5 years of customer service experience in an office setting
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of US trade compliance including import/export, ITAR, NAFTA, FTAs, Made in USA, Harmonized Tariff Rules preferred
• Excellent communication and detail orientation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
• Team player willing to take on additional tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; SAP knowledge preferred
• Ability to rotate with other Service Representatives for holiday coverage
