Accounting Group Manager

Stellenbeschreibung:

Independent preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements for multiple entities in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Onboarding of newly acquired subsidiaries into the existing group structure
Ensuring timely and accurate payment processing
Contribution to consolidation and group financial statements under IFRS in close coordination with the Head of Accounting
Active participation in ongoing digitalization and process optimization projects within the finance department
Handling ad-hoc requests from executive management and preparing reports for shareholders and the supervisory board
Point of contact for external partners such as auditors and tax advisors
Professional leadership and targeted development of a cohesive accounting team; prospective assumption of disciplinary responsibility

Requirements

Successfully completed degree in business administration or commercial vocational training with further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified accounting specialist)
Solid knowledge of HGB and proven experience in independently preparing annual financial statements
Initial leadership/supervisory experience
Excellent German language skills; English skills are an advantage
Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central and/or LucaNet desirable
Resilience and strong organizational skills, especially during closing-intensive periods
