  • Manage daily accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations
  • Lead monthly and year-end closing processes
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with local GAAP (e.g. HGB) and IFRS
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and coordinate with external accountants and auditors
  • Prepare and file VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory tax returns

  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws in all jurisdictions where business transactions occur
  • Coordinate with tax advisors and authorities regarding audits, registrations, and inquiries
  • Support transfer pricing documentation and cross-border transactions
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting packages to the headquarters

  • Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with internal audits or SOX
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting in cooperation with the Finance team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Several years of relevant experience in accounting and tax, preferably in a multinational or European environment
  • Solid understanding of local tax regulations and accounting standards
  • Prior experience in company setups or transition phases, e.g. newly established entities
  • Experience in working with international headquarters
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong MS Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German as well as Korean language skills
  • Ability to manage external service providers like tax advisors and auditors
