Accounting Officer (m/f/div) Business Line Marl / Wesseling

In this role you will independently handle accounting topics and coordinate business transactions in the general ledger. You prepare and analyze financial statements in IFRS, HGB, and EnWG, and advise operating units and Controlling on accounting issues. You participate in accounting-focused transformation projects and contribute to the development of internal processes. You act as a contact person for auditors and external stakeholders. • Independent handling of specific accounting topics and coordination of transactions in the general ledger
• Preparation and analysis of financial statements in IFRS, HGB, and EnWG
• Advising operating units and Controlling on accounting issues
• Participation in accounting-focused projects, including transformation processes
• Further development of internal procedures and processes
• Serve as contact person for external/internal stakeholders, especially the auditor

• University degree in business administration with focus on accounting or equivalent (e.g., CPA)
• At least 3 years of professional experience in general ledger accounting or auditing
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, HGB, and ideally EnWG
• SAP finance modules knowledge and proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
• Careful, conscientious work ethic with initiative and ability to handle high workloads
