Actuarial Function Specialist - L&H (m/f/x)

In this role you ensure the adequacy of models, methods, and data used to value insurance liabilities and contribute to the Actuarial Function’s opinions. You support the preparation of ORSA, RSR, and SFCR, and perform reviews of valuation models, governance, and reinsurance arrangements. You also assist with group-level tasks and the model change process, including IFRS 17 and Solvency II. You’ll collaborate across local entities and travel up to twice yearly.

• Verify adequacy of valuation models, methods, and underlying data for insurance liabilities
• Support creation of the Actuarial Function Report and form opinions on technical provisions, underwriting policy, and reinsurance
• Assist in preparing ORSA, RSR, and SFCR and monitor Actuarial Function recommendations
• Perform reviews of valuation models, validation processes, underwriting policy, and actuarial governance
• Contribute to group-level tasks and model change processes (IFRS 17 and Solvency II)

• University degree in mathematics, economics, or business administration with a finance focus, or comparable qualification
• Fully qualified actuary or equivalent actuarial training; solid valuation model knowledge
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 17 and at least 5 years of relevant insurance industry experience
• Analytical, independent, structured working style
• Strong communication and team-oriented mindset; business-fluent German
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to ~2 trips/year)
