Administrative and Financial Manager – 50Hz Project

For the 50Hz project (construction of two landfalls for the electrical connection between the Ostwind 4 offshore wind farm, the Danish island of Bornholm, and the German coast), we are looking for an Administrative and Financial Manager. You will report directly to the Project Manager, and the Deputy CFO of BESSAC, based in France, will support you in successfully carrying out your missions. You will join a passionate team made up of site engineers and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Accounting & Treasury : Ensure reliability of local entity’s accounts and prepare financial, accounting, and tax documents in compliance with legal requirements and deadlines; supervise invoice accounting, preparation of social and tax declarations, production of quarterly and annual accounts in line with Group rules, third‑party payments; prepare monthly cash‑in forecasts; prepare progress payment statements; monitor cash position and analyze variances against forecasts.
• Management Control : Ensure management control and preparation of monthly reporting in coordination with the project management; draw up the budget and budget reforecasts; determine the amount of earned revenue.
• Human Resources : Manage administrative follow‑up of staff and transmit attendance records; manage local payroll; ensure compliance with local labour regulations and immigration rules.
• Legal & Insurance : Manage subcontracting contracts; set up performance bonds and ensure their release; implement and monitor insurance policies; supervise dispute and claim resolution.
• Purchasing & Logistics : Assist the Project Director with purchasing; negotiate major contracts; set up framework contracts; handle importation and customs clearance.
• Administration : Manage administrative operations of the subsidiary; provide support for seconded staff; manage maintenance of premises; support the Project Director in matters with local authorities and third parties.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in finance and accounting, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Administrative and Financial Manager, ideally within construction or civil engineering in an international environment.
• Strong interest and experience with IT tools such as ERP software.
• Knowledge of performance bonds and subcontracting contracts in the construction sector.
• Operational proficiency in German and English.
• Strong ability to understand teams and contexts, choose appropriate organisational structures, and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and pedagogical skills when interacting with Project Managers.
