Advanced Project Engineering Leader / Manager (Global Quality)

As a recruitment consultant, I am currently supporting my client, a globally operating technology company in the field of energy and data transmission solutions, in filling a key position within their global quality organization. The company stands for highly engineered systems, innovation, and strong international collaboration.

• You take ownership of quality activities across the entire product development lifecycle - from concept to series production
• You act as the key quality representative within cross-functional, international project teams
• You design and implement project-specific quality strategies, applying advanced methods for risk prevention and validation
• You ensure compliance with customer requirements as well as applicable standards and regulations
• You collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, coordinating all quality-related interfaces
• You actively contribute to design reviews focusing on manufacturability, quality, and reliability
• You lead risk assessments and structured problem-solving initiatives
• You support product validation, approval processes, and production ramp-up phases
• You analyze quality metrics and initiate continuous improvement actions

• You hold a degree in engineering or a comparable technical field
• You bring several years of experience in quality engineering within complex development environments (e.g., automotive, aerospace, or similar industries)
• You have strong exposure to system-level development, ideally within electro-mechanical or mechatronic systems
• You are proficient in advanced quality tools, methods, and relevant industry standards
• You demonstrate strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach
• You have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Fluency in English (C1-C2) is mandatory; additional languages such as German or French are a plus
• You are willing to travel internationally (approx. 40%) and work in a highly operational, on-site role (Weil am Rhein or Potsdam preferred)
