Job Title: Talent Acquisition Manager

Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Manager leads end-to-end recruiting within an assigned functional area, ensuring the attraction and successful recruitment of high-quality talent that supports the organization’s Right People + Best Culture goals. This role partners closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to design and execute effective talent strategies, while serving as a subject matter expert on talent acquisition practices, processes, and market trends. The position offers a clear career path toward Senior Talent Acquisition Manager and operates with autonomy on non-routine matters, providing recommendations and escalating exceptions when appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full life‑cycle recruiting for a variety of roles within the assigned area of responsibility, from requisition intake through offer acceptance.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and business leaders to drive talent processes and support the broader human capital strategy across the business.
  • Oversee the selection process by identifying and assessing active and passive candidates, conducting pre‑screens, coordinating and facilitating interviews, and leading debrief sessions with interview teams.
  • Identify potential concerns or risks during the hiring process and proactively recommend solutions to ensure a successful hire.
  • Leverage information gathered from candidates and hiring teams to recommend the most suitable candidates for specific openings.
  • Market the organization and its employee benefits to candidates to position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Influence hiring teams to adopt and consistently apply the organization’s hiring best practices, tools, and resources.
  • Implement the defined national and local talent acquisition strategy within the assigned business area.
  • Maintain awareness of current hiring trends, competitor activity, and employment market conditions, and incorporate these insights into recruiting strategies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and trusted partner for business leaders, developing collaborative partnerships to improve talent acquisition operations within the area of emphasis.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop sourcing strategies and solutions that build a strong pipeline of talent to meet emerging business needs and address anticipated talent gaps.
  • Communicate regularly with candidates, hiring managers, and internal support services to ensure a smooth, timely, and positive recruitment experience.
  • Apply strong project management, organizational, and planning skills to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers on talent acquisition practices and a variety of talent-related situations.

Essential Skills

  • 5 years of progressive experience in recruiting or talent management within the AEC industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner across multiple concurrent requisitions.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly present business and technical information.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition practices, processes, and solutions, with the ability to coach and guide hiring managers.
  • Proven ability to influence candidates at various stages of awareness about the organization to consider a range of opportunities.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with candidates and internal partners.
  • Strong project management skills, including organizing, planning, and execution.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively within a team, both internally and externally.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the preferred degree requirements.
  • Experience acting as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition and advising business leaders on hiring best practices.
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies that build robust talent pipelines for current and future needs.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and interpreting hiring trends, competitor information, and employment market conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
