Aufgaben

You will conduct safety assessments (FHA, PASA, SSA, PRA, CMA, FMECA) and analyses in accordance with EASA regulations and ARP4754/ARP4761 guidelines to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with aerospace products.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and document safety requirements, ensuring their integration into the design and development processes.
You will implement and maintain safety management processes, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety verification and validation activities.
You will prepare and review safety-related documentation, such as safety plans, safety case reports, and compliance checklists, ensuring clarity and adherence to regulatory standards.
You will work closely with design, systems engineering, and certification teams to ensure that safety considerations are incorporated into all phases of product development.

Anforderungen

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
You have proven experience in aerospace product safety and a strong understanding of EASA regulations, along with familiarity with ARP4754 and ARP4761 guidelines.
You possess experience with safety analysis techniques such as FMEA, FTA, and hazard analysis.
You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and proficiency in relevant software tools for safety analysis and documentation.
You have effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work collaboratively in a team environment, and you may have experience with certification processes and knowledge of systems engineering principles and other safety standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).
