What You'll Be Part Of

As an AI Application Developer, you will serve as a highly skilled individual contributor responsible for designing, building, and deploying business-specific AI applications, agents, and workflows that accelerate productivity and business outcomes across HARMAN. You will leverage enterprise AI platforms, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and emerging AI technologies to deliver secure, auditable, and scalable solutions aligned with business processes and governance requirements. This role requires deep expertise in AI application development combined with strong business acumen to translate operational needs into practical AI-enabled solutions. You will work independently on complex initiatives, lead cross-functional projects, and act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders.

Your Team

You will be an individual contributor collaborating with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, platform teams, data teams, security teams, and application developers to design and deploy AI applications and intelligent workflows. While you will not have direct people management responsibilities, you will lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders to drive AI adoption and business value across the organization.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Design, develop, test, and deploy business-specific AI applications, copilots, and intelligent workflows using enterprise AI platforms and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Build constrained, tool-using AI agents that integrate with enterprise systems, APIs, knowledge repositories, and business applications.
• Translate business processes, operational requirements, and user journeys into scalable AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable business value.
• Configure and implement out-of-the-box AI capabilities and copilots to meet functional and operational business needs.
• Establish evaluation frameworks, testing methodologies, and monitoring processes to ensure AI solutions are accurate, reliable, auditable, and compliant.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and recommend AI-enabled process improvements.
• Collaborate with platform, security, architecture, data, and governance teams to ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards and responsible AI principles.
• Lead AI application projects with moderate complexity and cross-functional impact, driving delivery from concept through production deployment.
• Develop reusable AI workflows, prompts, agent templates, integration patterns, and best practices to accelerate adoption across the organization.
• Monitor production AI solutions, analyze performance metrics, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize business outcomes and user experience.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices, providing recommendations for adoption and innovation opportunities.

What Makes You A Strong Fit

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline, with 6+ years of experience in software, application, automation, or AI solution development.
• Specialized expertise in designing, building, and deploying AI applications, copilots, intelligent agents, and workflow automation solutions using enterprise AI platforms and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, AI solution architecture, API integrations, enterprise systems, and the application of AI to solve complex business challenges.
• Experience implementing AI governance, evaluation frameworks, testing methodologies, monitoring, and auditability controls to ensure reliable and responsible AI solutions.
• Proven ability to independently lead cross-functional projects, influence stakeholders, and deliver scalable AI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes and operational efficiency.
