Overview

As a freelance AI & Automation Specialist, you are our "architect for efficiency". You identify bottlenecks in our sales, marketing and operations teams and resolve them with intelligent workflows (n8n, Make, Zapier) and the use of AI tools. You analyze our existing processes (sales pipeline, onboarding, support) and build robust automations using tools like Make (formerly Integromat) or n8n. You implement LLMs (e.g., OpenAI API, Claude) into our workflows to automate tasks such as lead qualification, email drafting, or data analysis. You seamlessly connect our tools (e.g., CRMs like HubSpot/Pipedrive, Slack, Notion, Google Workspace) so data flows automatically. When no-code reaches its limits, you write small scripts (Python/JavaScript) to cover the last mile of integration. You train our team on the new AI tools and create documentation to keep the solutions maintainable.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement automated workflows to improve efficiency across sales, marketing, and operations using tools like Make, n8n, Zapier.
Integrate AI models into business processes to automate tasks such as lead qualification, email drafting, and data analysis.
Design and maintain integrations between tools (CRMs such as HubSpot or Pipedrive, Slack, Notion, Google Workspace) to enable seamless data flow.
Develop custom scripts (Python/JavaScript) when no-code solutions are insufficient, ensuring robust error handling and reliability.
Educate and empower the team by training on AI tools and creating clear, maintainable documentation.

Requirements

At least 2 years of relevant experience in AI freelancing, automation engineering, or a similar role (ideally in a B2B SaaS environment).
Proficiency with Make.com or n8n, with strong understanding of webhooks and APIs.
Ability to engineer prompts to deliver productive results from AI models within business processes.
Basic coding skills in Python or JavaScript for API calls or data transformation (a strong plus).
Product mindset: build robust workflows with proper error handling and scalable design, not fragile solutions.
Languages: Very good German and English (Berlin startup context with German-speaking dental clients).
