AI Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you will design, build and operate an enterprise AI platform that unifies LLM providers and AI services, enabling scalable, secure, production-grade AI solutions. You’ll drive end-to-end AI lifecycle, from integration and governance to performance optimization, delivering measurable value across Jedox’s enterprise applications. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to automate workflows and connect AI to tools like Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Salesforce. • Design and operate the enterprise AI platform, integrating multiple LLM providers with routing, fallback strategies and cost control
• Develop reusable AI services and scalable APIs to support agents, copilots and business applications
• Build intelligent agents and multi-agent workflows for complex business processes
• Enable enterprise integrations by connecting AI solutions to platforms such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Salesforce and Jedox
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures with hybrid search, vector databases and semantic indexing
• Optimize AI performance by monitoring latency, cost efficiency and inference performance
• Establish evaluation frameworks to measure AI accuracy, detect hallucinations, and assess quality
• Ensure AI safety and governance with guardrails, monitoring and governance frameworks
• Manage AI lifecycle including prompt versioning, model management and CI/CD pipelines

• 8+ years in software engineering
• 3+ years delivering production-grade AI applications
• Proven experience building and scaling enterprise AI solutions
• Strong expertise in LLMs, RAG, and AI agents including multi-agent systems
• Solid Python programming and modern development practices (APIs, Docker, CI/CD)
• Cloud-native architectures (Azure), vector databases, semantic search
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Copilot Studio
• Familiarity with AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph), observability, and AI governance
