Join Sonar as a Machine Learning Scientist in Data & AI to advance AI-driven code analysis. You will work on cutting-edge ML and LLM methods applied to software development, shaping features that improve code quality and security. You’ll bridge research and product, turning prototypes into scalable solutions for a global user base. Verantwortungsbereiche

Spearhead research in ML, deep learning, and LLMs for SDLC applications
Design, prototype, and validate novel ML models to detect bugs, vulnerabilities, and code smells
Develop LLM-based features including RAG and model fine-tuning on proprietary codebases
Build and manage data pipelines for large-scale code-centric datasets
Translate successful prototypes into production-ready features in Sonar products
Communicate complex results to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Zentrale Anforderungen

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related quantitative field (Master’s or PhD)
Strong industry experience in ML with solid software engineering understanding
Proficiency in Python and core ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face)
Familiarity with Java is a plus
Experience in NLP or Programming Language Processing (PLP)
Hands-on with LLM architectures and techniques: fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA), prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, vector databases, semantic search
Experience with large-scale data processing and cloud (AWS)
Autonomous project leadership from ideation to prototype
Excellent English communication skills
