About the role

We are looking for a AI (Salesforce) Developer to help redefine how software is built at L. This is not a traditional Salesforce development role. You will be the pioneer driving the adoption of AI-assisted engineering, combining deep Salesforce expertise with modern development practices powered by AI, Claudeforce, Claude, and emerging coding agents.

For the first six months, you will operate as a highly autonomous specialist, experimenting with new ways of building, reviewing, and maintaining software. You will establish the guardrails, workflows, and best practices that enable developers to work faster, smarter, and with higher quality using AI. Once the foundation is proven, you will play a key role in bringing these ways of working to the wider technology team.

Beyond innovation, you will have a strong focus on simplification and standardization. Rather than building custom solutions by default, you challenge complexity, optimize existing architecture, and help move solutions back towards scalable standards wherever possible.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the adoption of AI‑assisted software development across Salesforce and related platforms.
• Design and implement Salesforce solutions, integrations, and platform enhancements.
• Review, optimise, and maintain existing Apex code and Salesforce architecture.
• Drive standardisation and challenge unnecessary customisations by moving solutions back to standard platform capabilities where appropriate.
• Establish development principles, governance, prompts, workflows, and quality controls for AI‑driven engineering.
• Coach and influence development teams on the use of Claude, Claudeforce , Slack‑based coding workflows, and emerging AI technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve scalability, quality, and maintainability of the technology landscape

What you bring

Required

• 5+ years of relevant development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Apex development.
• Experience reviewing code, improving architecture, and driving technical best practices.
• Demonstrated experience with AI‑assisted development or vibe‑coding methodologies.
• Knowledge of Salesforce data models and SOQL.
• Ability to operate independently, influence stakeholders, and lead change.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred

• Experience with Agentforce, Claude, and AI‑enabled development environments.
• Knowledge of Python for automation and AI‑related workflows.
• Experience with ERP or logistics integrations, including environments such as Certinia.
