AI/ML Computational Scientist

About the role

We are hiring AI/ML Computational Scientists across multiple career levels to design, build and operationalise machine learning solutions for enterprise clients. Dependent on seniority, the role spans the full solution lifecycle from assessing client needs and data, selecting and customising models (including Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models), designing scalable data and DevOps & MLOps pipelines for training and production, and ensuring quality, value, and reliability of deployed systems.

What you will do

• Translate business problems into practical AI/ML solutions.
• Develop, customise and deploy machine learning models, including Deep Learning, Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
• Build scalable data pipelines and production-ready AI/ML systems using DevOps, MLOps and LLMOps practices.
• Work with cloud, distributed computing, high-performance compute and large-scale data environments.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to explain solutions, trade-offs and business value.
• Contribute to research, innovation and continuous improvement across AI/ML delivery.

Who we are looking for

• Background in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in machine learning, computational science, AI engineering or AI solution delivery.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of relevant tools and languages such as Python, C++, Java, R, SQL, cloud platforms, MLOps or LLM Ops.
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, with curiosity for emerging technologies.
