Overview

As AI/ML Engineer in the Automotive Engineering Lab, you apply state-of-the-art AI methods to ensure smooth operation of AI/ML activities. You will set up and maintain end-to-end pipelines and manage datasets, models, and deployment. You collaborate with a high-performance team to optimize GPU usage and benchmark open-source models for automotive applications. This role offers impactful work at scale within Huawei’s automotive AI research initiatives.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Set up and maintain end-to-end AI pipelines and datasets
Develop and automate AI engineering lifecycle (training, data labeling workflows)
Implement data pre-/post-processing, cleaning, and transformations
Monitor and optimize GPU resources, ensure system stability and performance
Deploy open-source models and conduct benchmarks
Work with cross-functional teams to advance automotive AI capabilities

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science / Analytics, Computer / Electrical Engineering or similar field
Experience in AI/ML design, training and implementation
Proficiency with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras
Python programming and data pre-/post-processing
Experience deploying AI models using LLM-related models; automotive deployment is a plus
Knowledge of CI/CD environments, Docker, scripting, and build/deploy automation
Hands-on attitude and ability to integrate into a high-performance team
Proficiency in English; German/Chinese is an advantage
