Air Ticket Sales Manager

Stellenbeschreibung:

Responsibilities

  • Local Distribution Channel Development & Deepening : Identify and expand local German downstream distribution channels, including local travel agencies, OTA platforms (e.g., Kayak DE, Expedia DE, GetYourGuide), Corporate Travel Management (TMC) companies, and professional air ticket agents. Build a stable and efficient localized partner network; focus on maintaining key customer relationships to enhance cooperation stickiness, renewal rates, and individual customer contribution, while resolving key pain points in channel cooperation such as fare synchronization, cabin availability guarantee, and after-sales coordination.
  • Business Negotiation & Cooperation Implementation : Lead international air ticket distribution cooperation negotiations, covering distribution agreement signing, commission term setting, marketing support plans, and Service Level Agreements (SLA). Balance channel costs and business benefits to ensure cooperation terms comply with German and EU regulations and are effectively implemented. Develop differentiated distribution strategies based on German market characteristics (e.g., China-EU cross-border travel demand, local payment habits, holiday travel patterns) and explore innovative cooperation models such as co-marketing and customized air ticket packages.
  • Airline Resource Linkage & Maintenance : Liaise with overseas branches of international airlines in Germany and local European airlines (e.g., Lufthansa, Germanwings). Synchronize distribution channel demands, secure high-quality cabins, exclusive fares, and policy support, and establish a stable airline resource supply system to ensure the competitiveness of distribution business.
  • Performance Targets & Data-Driven Work : Undertake international air ticket distribution performance indicators for the German region (booking volume, revenue, gross profit, etc.) and formulate phased channel expansion and performance growth plans. Track sales data of each distribution channel (conversion rate, order volume, refund/change rate, etc.), analyze performance gaps, develop targeted improvement measures, and proactively explore incremental channel demands (e.g., cross-border group tickets, business travel charters).
  • Compliance & Market Management : Gain insights into the dynamics of Germany’s and Europe’s international air ticket distribution market, competitor strategies, and industry policy changes (including IATA rules, EU air transport regulations, German Aviation Act, and GDPR data compliance requirements). Strictly adhere to local laws and regulations to ensure the full-process compliance of distribution cooperation, order settlement, and customer information management.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration : Coordinate with headquarters’ product, operation, supply chain, and finance teams to synchronize distribution policies, fare information, and cabin inventory, ensuring the smooth connection of processes such as booking, after-sales refund/change, and settlement reconciliation. Provide professional support to distribution channels (e.g., product training, operational guidance, problem response) and cooperate with channels in conducting marketing promotion activities.

Qualifications

  • Must hold legal work authorization in Germany or the EU (no company visa sponsorship required) and be able to work full-time in Germany.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above; 3+ years of experience in international air ticket B2B downstream distribution, channel business, or relevant sales. Familiarity with Germany’s and Europe’s aviation distribution ecosystem (local channel characteristics, airline distribution rules, China-EU cross-border air ticket business logic) is preferred.
  • Possess mature local German downstream distribution channel resources (local travel agencies, OTA platforms, TMCs, air ticket agents, etc.), with excellent business negotiation skills, contract implementation experience, and in-depth customer relationship management capabilities.
  • Proficient in international air ticket distribution processes and rules; skilled in operating GDS systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus). Understanding of IATA settlement rules, international fare systems, and local German distribution-related policies is preferred.
  • Language Requirements: Fluent in German (business-level listening, speaking, reading, and writing, proficient in communicating with local channels and regulatory authorities); fluent in English (able to smoothly communicate with international airlines and Chinese headquarters); proficiency in Chinese is an important plus .
  • Strong goal orientation, ability to work under pressure, and data analysis awareness; capable of independently advancing channel expansion and performance achievement. Experience in cross-cultural team collaboration (e.g., coordinating with Chinese headquarters or European regional teams) is required.
  • Sensitive to international air ticket market trends and China-EU cross-border travel demand; possess innovative cooperation thinking and efficient problem-solving capabilities. Familiarity with EU GDPR and aviation industry compliance requirements is preferred.
