Airbus - Airframe Automation Specialist (m/f/d) - temporary contract until the end of January 2028

Your responsibilities will include: supporting the development and advancement of automation solutions, methods, processes, and tools in the field of airframe engineering; contributing to and supporting ongoing strategies for new technological automation components; connecting system and aircraft architectures and ensuring the interdependencies between automation functions and architecture parameters; and defining and establishing new processes and methods for the optimal use of automation-based and parametric design tools.

• Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering, technical studies or a comparable qualification (at least a Bachelor's degree)

• Several years of professional experience (at least 2 years) in the areas of configuration management, engineering, design and aircraft construction (preferably system installation and structural design)

• In-depth application knowledge of Catia V5 and VPM; basic knowledge of coding/scripting (VBA, Python, CAA) and agile methodologies is desirable.

• Fluent English skills (both spoken and written) and basic German skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong teamwork skills, and an agile, independent working style in an international environment.
