AIRBUS: Buyer Cabin Floor to Floor (d/f/m)

Overview

As Buyer in the Cabin Floor to Floor (d/f/m) team, you will work for Airbus Commercial aircraft programs. Your responsibilities are as follows:

Responsibilities

• Contribute to procurement activities, manage tenders and contract negotiations to achieve the best purchasing conditions according to company requirements (internal and external).


• Monitor contracts (during the innovation, development, series production, and support phases) with suppliers and company stakeholders to ensure full application of the terms and conditions throughout the contract lifecycle and ensure that suppliers deliver the expected performance in all dimensions (logistics, support, quality, costs).


• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and implement projects to optimize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks.


• Contribute to (sub-)multifunctional and multidivisional teams throughout the tender, contract, and contract lifecycle phases.


• Lead commercial negotiations for changes to products in the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or business


• Very good communication and organisational skills


• Independent, proactive way of working


• Social skills and ability to work in a team


• Confident and friendly manner


• Several years of experience in operational and strategic procurement


• In-depth knowledge of contract management


• Business-fluent English


• SAP experience


• Knowledge of project and process management, as well as risk management


• Experience with Airbus is preferred
