AIT Electrical Engineer (all gender)

In this role you will prepare and execute tests for electrical and mechanical subsystems in an AIT environment, set up instruments and test configurations, and perform hands-on testing while monitoring hardware. You will develop test procedures, analyze results, and document activities to support project quality standards. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and system engineers to ensure robust validation, contributing to ALTEN’s mission of shaping the future through engineering excellence.

• Prepare tests for electrical and mechanical subsystems in an AIT environment
• Set up test equipment, tools, and configurations
• Perform hands-on testing and monitor hardware during test campaigns
• Develop and update test procedures and validation steps
• Analyze test results and assess deviations, supporting root-cause investigations
• Document all test activities in line with project and quality standards
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and system engineering colleagues

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechatronics (or comparable field)
• Initial practical testing experience (test execution, setups, early-stage procedures or validation)
• Experience in AIT
• Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented testing mindset
• Comfort with both hands-on and documentation/digital work
• Interest in hardware-focused testing with systematic approach (not purely manufacturing or software)
• Strong English communication skills; German a plus
