Overview
As an Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Layout Engineer at ALTEN, you will design and optimize layouts for analog, mixed-signal, high-voltage, and power-management blocks. You’ll own IP blocks, support floorplanning and integration, and collaborate with global engineering teams to ensure robust, manufacturable designs. You will drive verification readiness, including DRC/LVS sign‑off, while contributing to IP reuse and new block development. This role connects technical execution with ALTEN’s mission to shape the future of engineering solutions.

- Develop analog and mixed-signal IC layouts at block, module, and IP level
- Implement layouts for high-voltage and power-management circuits
- Take ownership of macros and IP blocks within complex IC projects
- Support top-level floorplanning and analog block integration
- Collaborate with Analog Design Engineers, Layout Leads, Verification Engineers, and international teams
- Perform and support DRC, LVS, and physical sign-off activities
- Optimize layouts for performance, matching, reliability, area, and manufacturability
- Contribute to IP reuse and new block development
- Participate in technical reviews and design discussions
- Studies in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC layout
- Knowledge of BCD and high-voltage technologies
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre
- Familiar with DRC, LVS, and physical verification flows
- Understand matching, symmetry, parasitics, EM/IR, and reliability practices
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of blocks
- Ideally experience with 130 nm, SPT9/SPT10, PMICs, DC/DC, LED drivers
- Good English language skills, both written and spoken
- Independent and ownership mindset
