Analog & Power Electronics Design Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you will contribute to the end-to-end development of precision research instruments, focusing on analog and power electronics. You will work with a dynamic hardware team to specify, model, implement, verify, and test key circuits. You’ll balance performance and efficiency through design trade-offs and validate concepts through proofs of design. This position offers hands-on problem solving in a collaborative, technology-driven environment.

• Define and drive all phases of instrument design (specification, modeling, implementation, verification, testing) for analog and power circuits
• Model and simulate key specifications to reduce risk and validate concepts
• Make design trade-offs between performance and efficiency
• Provide proof of design for new concepts and approaches
• Collaborate closely with experienced hardware design team

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Several years of experience in Analog & Power hardware design
• Strong knowledge of measurement and verification techniques
• Know-how in power modeling
• Knowledge in data analysis
• Technical communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in English and German
