Antenna Engineer (RF) - Freelance

I have a requirement for an Antenna Integration/RF Engineer for a 6 month+ freelance contract in Southern Germany (Bavaria region).

Role Overview

We are seeking a Freelance Antenna Integration Engineer with strong RF and antenna engineering experience to support the design, integration and production of advanced systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and validate antenna and RF systems.


• Support antenna integration from initial design and development through to production.


• Ensure effective antenna placement, RF performance and integration with wider system architectures.


• Conduct testing, troubleshooting and performance validation using appropriate RF and antenna test equipment.


• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to resolve integration challenges and optimise system performance.


• Background in antenna engineering, RF engineering or antenna integration.


• Experience taking antenna or RF solutions from design through to production.


• Practical understanding of RF testing, validation and troubleshooting.


• Ability to work independently in a freelance or contract engineering environment.


• Engagement: Freelance / Contract


• Location: Hybrid / Remote, with onsite attendance ideally every second week as a minimum.


• Flexibility: Greater remote working flexibility is possible where the contractor has access to the necessary RF testing and antenna measurement equipment.
