Scope of Responsibilities

The teams in the Internal and External Services division (0511) work together to ensure that the operational capacity of the GQ 0500 department (DRV-IT, DSRV & Services) is maintained from both an organizational and technical perspective. The teams serve as a hub for all internal and external employees of the department and address their key concerns. The diverse services from various sub-disciplines are distributed among the Service Team, the Process Service, and the GQ 0500 Department hotline, as well as the Technical Internal Service (end-user support), the experts for onboarding and offboarding, and the cross-agency IT procurement coordination. For our IT Services Team, we are seeking a dedicated individual with a strong service-oriented mindset and a passion for working with people. You will be responsible for the application development of our collaboration tools.

Your Responsibilities

• Independently planning, developing, and testing applications and databases in our collaboration tools (Notes, Atlassian, and others as needed)
• Contributing to the creation of technical requirement analyses for high-level and detailed concepts
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining IT security concepts, including documentation of the developed products
• Conducting problem analyses, developing solutions, and implementing and documenting them
• Maintaining existing products, monitoring, testing, and tracking the lifecycle
• Actively shaping and managing assigned tasks with a high standard of service in line with customer requirements
• Participation in internal and cross-organizational expert groups

Your Profile

• A completed university degree (Bachelor’s, FH diploma) in the IT field, or a comparable qualification (e.g., as a business administrator) in the IT field, or vocational training in IT (specializing in application development) with several years of relevant practical work experience
• Initial job-relevant professional experience in application development and knowledge of Java and Java EE
• Ideally, you have knowledge of Atlassian products and basic programming skills in HCL Notes, Domino environments, Lotus Script, and XPages
• Fluent written and spoken German
• An analytical, structured, and independent work style with a strong service-oriented mindset is desirable
• In addition to strong communication and teamwork skills, your profile is rounded out by a solution-oriented approach to work, as well as the ability to contribute ideas and participate in change processes
