About the Role:

• First dedicated Application Product Security Engineer, high-ownership role at a startup.
• Hands-on: threat modeling, code review, security tooling, and incident response.
• Partner with engineering and product teams from design to shipping.

What You’ll Do:

• Identify risks early and build security into new features from the start.
• Lead threat modeling and secure design reviews for new products and features.
• Perform security-focused code reviews, maintain security tooling, and participate in incident response.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2-4 years in application security or product security.
• Solid grasp of OWASP Top 10 and ability to explain risk to engineers.
• Hands-on incident response and ability to read and write code (Python, TypeScript, etc.).
