Architect - Content and Data Migration

In this role you will lead enterprise content and data migration initiatives for clients, shaping how they modernize their information landscape. You’ll work within the Professional Services team in Germany, guiding assessments, design, and Go-Live execution to ensure long-term success. You’ll leverage OpenText and ETL tooling to transform content, metadata, and data, while partnering with stakeholders across client organizations. This is a hands-on, advisory role focused on delivering high-quality migration outcomes and driving digital transformation.

• Lead and design enterprise content and data migration projects from assessment through Go-Live
• Run client workshops to translate business and technical requirements into migration approaches
• Design and implement migrations using OpenText Magellan Integration Center and similar ETL tooling
• Define and execute mapping strategies for content, metadata, and data transformations
• Contribute to migration methodologies, frameworks, accelerators, and delivery practices
• Support sales in bid teams with migration expertise throughout the sales process

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent training
• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise content and data migration projects
• Proficiency in scripting and automation; ability to leverage AI-assisted coding tools
• Experience with database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of OpenText Magellan Integration Center or similar ETL tools a plus
• Knowledge of OpenText Extended ECM and/or Documentum platforms a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Fluent in English and German; Dutch or French is a plus
