Art Director – Cologne

Develop innovative concepts and visual ideas for campaigns, brand identities, and digital products
Lead the creative team, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development
Review creative work, copy, and visuals to ensure high quality standards
Present and champion creative ideas internally and to clients
Incorporate current design trends, technologies, and AI-powered tools into workflows
Work closely with project management and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflows

Requirements

Degree or vocational training in graphic design, communication design, or motion design—or equivalent experience
Several years of agency experience as a Senior Graphic Designer or Art Director
Experience in motion design, 3D visualization, UX/UI, or content creation
Strong sense of style, aesthetics, composition, and visual storytelling
Experience providing professional leadership to teams and taking responsibility
Enthusiasm for innovative ideas and concepts, together with a commitment to creative excellence
Knowledge of production processes
Proficiency in standard design tools, especially Adobe Creative Suite
Experience using modern technologies such as generative AI to support creative processes
Good command of German, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
