ASIC Digital Design Expert (f/m/div)

In this role you will lead the digital design of advanced Mixed-Signal and SoC ASICs for MEMS-based consumer sensors. You’ll contribute to digital module-level concept definition and architectural integration, optimizing for area and power while ensuring robust control and datapath implementations. You will collaborate with international teams to characterize and validate products, shaping next-generation sensing ICs. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position at the Munich center with a strong emphasis on innovation.

• Lead digital design of mixed-signal SoCs and ASICs
• Define digital module-level concepts, derive requirements, and contribute to architectural integration
• Optimize digital implementations for area and power
• Ensure robust design in control and datapath structures
• Support product characterization and validation

• 5+ years in IC digital design
• Experience in data signal processing and/or microcontroller subsystems (preferred)
• Strong proficiency with VHDL and/or Verilog
• Expertise with state-of-the-art digital design EDA tools
• Experience with digital data processing and low-power design techniques
• Knowledge of place-and-route toolchains is a plus
• Proficient English; German beneficial
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field (Diploma/M.Sc.)
