We are currently supporting a leading renewable energy investment and asset management platform that is expanding its team in Germany. The company specializes in managing and optimizing renewable energy assets across the full lifecycle, combining investment expertise, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Asset Manager (m/f/d) with experience in wind and/or solar projects to take ownership of commercial asset performance, support investment decisions, and contribute to the continued growth of the renewable energy portfolio.
As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management and optimisation of renewable energy assets, working closely with internal teams, investors, and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting renewable energy investment activities, including commercial due diligence and acquisition processes
Reviewing and evaluating investment cases, financial models, and project economics
Monitoring asset performance, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements
Managing relationships with external partners, consultants, and service providers
Analyzing financial performance, liquidity, and optimization opportunities across managed assets
Developing business cases and economic scenarios to support strategic decision-making
Preparing high-quality reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Supporting the continuous improvement and long-term value creation of renewable energy investments
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum of 2 years' professional experience within renewable energy, ideally across wind and/or solar projects
Strong understanding of project economics, financial modelling, investment analysis, and due diligence processes
Experience assessing contracts and working with external stakeholders
Analytical mindset with strong commercial awareness and decision-making ability
Independent, proactive working style with a high level of ownership
Strong communication skills in German and English (business fluent)
