Assistant Chief Physician, Addiction Services

Overview

Your tasks include development and responsibility duties agreed upon with the chief physician of addiction services, tailored to your interests, such as developing psychosocial treatment methods for addiction services.

Responsibilities

• Develop psychosocial treatment methods for addiction services in coordination with the chief physician.
• Fulfill administrative duties (about 20% of working hours).
• Direct patient work (about 80% of working hours).
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams with addiction services and social services.
• Work across Varha western dependency teams: Naantali, Masku-Mynämäki area, Laitila, and Uusikaupunki region; administrative work covers the entire Varha area.
• Remote work is possible; training in remote consultations provided if necessary.
