We are on the lookout for an Associate Data Analyst, FinOps and Tech Metrics to join the Tech Foundations Team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

As a member of the Tech Foundations Team, you’ll support Delivery Hero’s rapid innovation and growth. You’ll work on foundational systems that enable faster feature development, security, reliability and efficiency across our global engineering community. Every enhancement you make will contribute to our teams’ ability to build, scale, and deliver quality features efficiently — ultimately impacting millions of users worldwide.

The FinOps and Tech Metrics team is delivering data pipelines, visualization solutions and organisational capabilities for global technology efficiency impact in the Delivery Hero Group. We drive several efficiency KPIs and lead group-wide initiatives to ensure the efficient management of cloud and AI resources leading to optimized usage and cost, high business value and engineering efficiency.

We have a unique Junior FinOps Analyst position to start off your career that does not present itself often. This role offers growth in multiple highly sought‑after disciplines in parallel: data analysis and cloud financial management (FinOps and tokenomics). You will be working closely together with data engineers and FinOps practitioners in our great team in a multi-provider environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with local and global stakeholders to support their cloud, AI, and engineering efficiency with regular and ad‑hoc analyses to drive optimization and business value.
• Deep‑dive into billions of rows cost, usage and operational datasets to extract insights at scale utilizing state‑of‑the‑art data and AI tooling.
• Together with more senior colleagues manage commitment‑based discounts and capacity reservations in the public cloud.
• Act as a hands‑on contributor to the evolution of our tooling ecosystem by user feedback synthesis, early analysis and prototyping of new features to be productized by our data engineers.
• Provide analysis outputs used by hundreds to thousands of engineers as well as all levels of management in the DH Group to help them make the right decisions and trade‑offs, and optimize workloads and spending.
• Bring an insatiable curiosity and hunger for knowledge and AI tools that keeps you rolling.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience outside of an academic and internship setting in a quantitative analysis role.
• Excellent hands‑on experience with SQL and Google Sheets or Excel.
• Data analysis‑focused coding skills such as Python Pandas, Matplotlib, SciPy, Seaborn, Jupyter/iPython notebooks, or R Markdown.
• Knowledge of BI/visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong English communication skills and interest in business and our (internal) customers.

Nice to have

• FinOps experience or certification.
