Associate (m|w|d) - Corporate Strategy (m|w|d)

In this role, you support strategic growth, performance, and portfolio decisions across Voith’s divisions. You work with senior leaders to translate market insights into actionable strategies and implementation support. You gain broad exposure to the Group, contributing to growth, portfolio management, M&A, and transformation initiatives. This position combines rigorous analysis with hands-on business impact in a multinational, cross-functional environment. You will help shape a common strategy approach and performance culture across the Group.

• Support strategic growth, performance and portfolio decisions through market insights and business analysis
• Own topics from initial question to analysis, recommendation, and implementation support
• Contribute to Group initiatives across growth, performance improvement, portfolio management, M&A and transformation
• Translate complex analyses into clear, decision-ready materials for senior management
• Collaborate with Voith Hydro, Paper, Turbo and Corporate Functions
• Work with strategy professionals, consultants and business leaders to build expertise and network
• Help shape a common strategy approach, toolkit and performance culture across the Group
• Build understanding of industrial technology markets, customer needs and value creation

• Master’s degree or PhD in business, economics, engineering, natural sciences or another analytical discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy or research-driven environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to structure complex questions and provide practical recommendations
• Curiosity, business judgement and willingness to take ownership early in your career
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across functions and levels
• Genuine interest in industrial technology, business models and value creation
• Entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to learn, grow and take on responsibility
• Excellent English communication; German is a plus
