Associate Systems Engineer Japan (m/f/d) IT Infrastructure

In this role you will help set up, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure for system deployments within Saab’s international engineering team. You will work on server hardware assessment, Linux-based application installation, and basic troubleshooting to support high-quality solutions for customers. You’ll engage with cross-functional teams and partners in Japan and Germany to ensure successful program delivery. • Support server hardware assessment, setup, and deployment activities
• Install, configure, and maintain applications in Linux environments
• Perform basic troubleshooting using system diagnostics and logs
• Provide first-level technical support during warranty and maintenance phases
• Assist in product demonstrations with Application Engineering
• Help manage changes and maintain system documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners/customers
• Work with cross-functional teams across development, integration, and production lifecycle

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related technical field
• Basic knowledge of server administration, networking, and Linux
• Basic understanding of system architecture and ability to read technical docs
• Basic scripting or programming experience (Bash or Python)
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in a structured environment
• Japanese business-level and English basic/intermediate communication skills
