Stellenbeschreibung:

Administration and configuration of Jira and Confluence (Data Center and Cloud)
Ensuring the availability, performance, and stability of existing systems
Planning and implementation of updates and upgrades
Analysis, troubleshooting, and follow-up of complex technical issues (second- and third-level support)
Structured documentation of system statuses, measures, and best practices

Security & Governance

Evaluation of security advisories and derivation of appropriate technical and organizational measures
Support for authorization, access, and security concepts in Jira and Confluence
Classification of security and app risks vis‑à‑vis customers
Participation in the introduction and further development of cloud‑specific security and governance approaches

Further development & transition to the cloud

Supporting support customers in the transition from data center to cloud operating models
Gradual shift in focus from infrastructure to platform and configuration issues
Advice on sensible cloud setups, limitations, and alternatives
Collaboration with consulting and migration teams during transition and transformation phasesDirect technical contact person for support customers
Clear presentation of technical issues and recommendations for action
Active exchange within the team for continuous improvement of support processes, standards, and documentation

Your background.

What does it take?

Completed IT training or degree with a technical focus or comparable practical experience
Experience in administering Jira and/or Confluence (Data Center and/or Cloud)
Solid knowledge of Linux and basic system concepts
Understanding relational databases and technical dependencies
Experience in dealing with security advisories and technical risks
Willingness to shift your focus from infrastructure to cloud, configuration, and consulting in the future
Structured, independent working style and enjoyment of direct customer contact
Very good German language skills (C1 or higher) and good English language skills (at least B2)

Desirable (but not essential)

Experience operating large Atlassian environments
Knowledge of Atlassian Cloud administration, permission models, and automation
Understanding cloud governance and app ecosystems
Experience in technical IT support or IT operations environment
Interest in further development in the direction of cloud operations or technical consulting
