Verify coverage and investigate liability, damages, and claim circumstances for assigned total loss claims.

Investigate complex losses, including multi-vehicle accidents, and determine appropriate claim handling strategies.

Evaluate claims to determine settlement value while adhering to company best claim practices and regulatory requirements.

Independently manage a dedicated inventory of total loss claims from initial assignment through final settlement.

Negotiate fair claim settlements while balancing customer satisfaction and sound business practices.

Provide proactive, timely communication to customers, claimants, lienholders, agents, and other involved parties.

Requirements

2+ years of prior claims handling experience, preferably in auto claims.

Ability to independently manage a claims inventory while making sound claims decisions.

Strong understanding of insurance coverage, liability investigations, and claim settlement practices.

Ability to obtain and maintain all required state adjuster licenses.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
