Automotive System Engineer - (m/f/d)

Job Description

We are looking for a new engineer with experience related to Automotive System Engineering (M/F/O), to assume the following responsibilities :

• Responsible for an end customer system function and single point of contact to customer and Valeo internally for the relevant function
• Writing sys requirements in DOORS derived from customer stakeholder requirements and ensure roadmap
• Function analyses, related problem solution and acceptance is owned by Sys engineer which have to be in accordance with internal and external requirements
• Sys acceptance can be performed on vehicle or HIL
• Technical concept proposals and reviews in correlation with internal and external requirements belong to system engineer which have to be in line with system architecture
• Represents Sys in ASPICE audits
• Close teaming with customer and presenting technical solutions and concerned performance to customer and to Valeo internal management
• Close collaboration with other sys engineers and their functions

Requirements

The following skills are required for the position :

• Completed engineering degree (electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, automotive engineering, physics) or comparable training
• Several years of experience in system or software design, ideally for embedded solutions in the automotive industry including experience with vehicle bus systems (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
• Knowledge in the development and documentation of system functions in DOORS
• Programming knowledge such as C/C++ or Python is an advantage
• Personal initiative, ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for technical systems
