Azure Cloud Engineer (all genders)

In this role you design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructures on Azure or AWS to support customer solutions. You work closely with cross-functional teams to drive secure networking, identity, and observability, enabling reliable cloud migrations and operational excellence. The position sits at the intersection of cloud engineering, security, and automation, shaping resilient architectures. You will contribute to an innovation-driven culture and engage in a range of tech initiatives across the PRODYNA network.

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructures (Azure or AWS)
• Plan and secure private networking, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and DNS
• Implement IAM/RBAC, managed identities, and federated identities
• Build reproducible infrastructure with Terraform/Tofu and GitOps workflows (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
• Establish observability with monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting
• Leverage Kubernetes, serverless patterns, and managed services for cloud-native deployments
• Manage cloud migrations for existing applications

• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud provisioning and management
• Familiarity with compute options and secure private networks
• Practical experience with Terraform/Tofu, CLI automation (Azure/AWS), and Git workflows
• Understanding of IAM, RBAC, managed identities/service principals, and OIDC/workload identity
• Knowledge of at least one monitoring solution (Azure Monitor or CloudWatch) and infrastructure logging/diagnostics
• Knowledge of Kubernetes/container orchestration and serverless concepts in infrastructure design
• Fluent German and good English; team-oriented and solution-focused
