In this placement, you join Citi’s Frankfurt Investment Banking team to support corporate and financial sponsor transactions across M&A, restructurings, and capital markets. You work on research, financial modelling, and client-facing materials, collaborating with cross-functional teams to help shape deal outcomes. The role combines hands-on analytics with preparatory, presentation, and regulatory tasks to support live transactions. It offers a clear growth path from internship to potential full-time analyst, within a fast-paced, integrity-driven environment.

• Collect and analyze company information to assist transactions and conduct industry research
• Build and refine financial models including valuations, DCF, financing, and comparatives
• Create and finalize new business development presentations
• Coordinate tasks with internal and external teams
• Prepare internal documentation such as control and compliance materials
• Utilize AI-powered tools to support research, analysis, and presentations
• Support preparation of client materials and presentations for transactions
• Assist in drafting pitch materials and briefing notes
• Contribute to research and analysis to inform deal strategy

• degree pursuit in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar
• fluent in English
