BC Operations Supervisor - Stuttgart (Kelley BKS)

Full‑Time 40‑hour week. Retail Germany‑Kelley Barracks Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, DE.

Principal Accountabilities

  • I. General Tasks and Skills
    • Perform center oversight, ensuring policies and procedures are clearly communicated and controls are implemented.
    • Guide associates to focus on identifying and delivering practical solutions to customers.
    • Meet operational and service‑delivery goals by keeping associates up‑to‑date on policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
    • Maintain adequate cash and financial paper supply, and train associates to uncover customer needs.
    • Review cash‑management processes for efficiency and recommend cost savings to the BCM.
    • Submit required forms for ATM cash limits and manage key, combination, and financial‑paper inventories.
    • Manage cash‑count processes and monitor cash differences, taking corrective action as needed.
    • Supervise ATM servicing teams, ensuring maximum ATM availability and resolving communication or hardware issues.
    • Ensure proper use and maintenance of banking‑center equipment, ordering maintenance when required.
    • Renew policy exceptions annually during Banking Center Manager absences.
    • Perform signature guarantees and review deceased‑customer and joint‑accountholder cases.
    • Handle customer complaints and process comment cards accurately.
    • Resolve security issues with authorities and partners, and collaborate with L.O. and community representatives on operational matters.
    • Participate in policy or procedure review teams and recommend improvements.
    • Identify capital‑budget needs and maintain life, safety, and response documentation.
    • Coordinate mandatory health and safety actions with the BCM.
    • Maintain accurate record retention and serve as attendance administrator.
    • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
  • II. Security
    • Prevent reportable security violations and manage monthly alarm component testing.
    • Inspect secured areas to ensure associate safety and secure assets.
    • Conduct risk assessments and recommend action to management.
  • III. Service Delivery
    • Execute and coach the playbook.
    • Lead from the lobby when needed.
    • Work with the BCM to develop action steps, communicate goals, and track results.
    • Recommend product and service delivery improvements.
    • Participate in community events to promote the bank.
  • IV. External Representation
    • Maintain ongoing communication with external business partners.
    • Ensure local Command officials understand the bank’s mission and can discuss service delivery during BCM absences.
  • V. Training
    • Oversee training of Banking Center Service Coordinators.
    • Assist the BCM with the new‑hire training experience and learning‑path knowledge checks.
    • Ensure mandatory training completion and appropriate coaching.
    • Conduct meaningful huddles routinely.
  • VI. Supervisory
    • Hold supervisory responsibility for subordinate associates.
    • Assist the BCM with HR processes: schedules, vacation plans, payroll reporting.
    • Prepare and conduct performance reviews and handle disciplinary actions.
    • Participate in recruitment, interview, and selection of associates.
    • Replace the Banking Center Manager as required.

Required Skills

  • Business‑related associate’s degree or equivalent experience (2–4 years of relevant experience if no degree).
  • Minimum two years of cash handling and/or customer service experience.
  • Two years of supervisory/team‑lead experience or one year at a bank (e.g., Bank of America or a community bank).
  • Proven results exceeding goals in a customer‑centric, results‑driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with others outside reporting authority.
  • Strong customer service skills with ability to resolve problems independently and, when necessary, escalate for customer satisfaction.
  • Strong risk‑management, decision‑making, and business‑goal achievement skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and related programs.
  • Availability to work extended hours as required to run the business.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two years of experience in retail banking, financial services, mortgage, or hospitality industries.
  • Three years of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
