Behavioral Health Clinician – Crisis Assessment & Care Navigation (Bilingual Spanish Speaking)

About the Role

As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will manage crises, provide in‑the‑moment phone support to clients with complex behavioral health issues, ensure client safety, and connect clients to high‑quality, evidence‑based providers and facilities. This position does not involve providing in‑person services or therapy, but focuses on supporting clients in connecting to care exclusively by phone and email.

Required Shifts

• Tuesday - Saturday 9:30am - 6pm PST (10:30am - 7pm MT / 11:30am - 8pm CT / 12:30pm - 9pm ET)
• Sunday - Thursday 9:30am - 6pm PT (10:30am - 7pm MT / 11:30am - 8pm CT / 12:30pm - 9pm ET)

Weekends include a 10% shift pay differential.

Responsibilities

• Using evidence‑based interventions, skillfully manage client crises, providing brief risk assessment, safety planning, and de‑escalation with the goal of connecting the client to treatment.
• Identify roadblocks to clinical care options for our clients using Lyra's proprietary software and other methods to connect clients to the ideal treatment, based on specific needs and preferences.
• Independently manage a caseload of complex, multi‑need clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical social work or equivalent; LCSW or equivalent independent clinical licensure required (e.g., LMFT, LPC, LPCC, etc.) or a Bachelor's degree in nursing (RN). Candidates without a state license to deliver mental health services independently will not be considered, except for RN license.
• Must have 2+ years psychiatric intake, assessment, or other related experience.
• EAP/clinical call center experience preferred.
• Must be bilingual, Spanish‑speaking.
• Significant experience managing high‑risk clinical situations (e.g., suicidality, mandated reporting).
• Must be a full‑time resident of the United States; work cannot be completed from outside the United States.

Pay and Benefits
