BEMS Ventures - Amazon PPC Specialist

Stellenbeschreibung:

Own Amazon PPC for growing US brands. Real budgets. Clear goals. Full ownership.

$3,000–$4,000/month | Full-time | Fully Remote

Hey there! I’m Jan, from BEMS Ventures, based out of Germany near Hamburg.

We’re an e-commerce business operating multiple Amazon brands in the US market - across toys, home goods, and seasonal products.

With 22 team members (plus some awesome outsourced support), we manage the entire product lifecycle - from production and inventory to sales and marketing - across multiple marketplaces in 10 countries.

What makes BEMS special? We’re passionate about keeping things fresh - constantly changing designs, patterns, and products. Our office is a creative and laid‑back space (right by a lake!), and we believe in balancing hard work with some fun, like post‑lunch cold plunges.

If you’re eager to join a dynamic and international team, we’d love to meet you!

We're looking for a Senior Amazon PPC Specialist.

This is not a “keep the account ticking over” kind of PPC role.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands how Amazon advertising works at a deeper level — someone who thinks strategically about campaign structure, keyword intent, placement strategy, market share, organic rank influence, profitability, and scaling opportunities across an entire catalogue.

You’ll be responsible for managing and evolving advanced PPC structures across multiple brands, product categories, and seasonal product lines in the US market.

Our ideal person doesn’t just optimise bids and budgets. They actively test hypotheses, spot opportunities competitors are missing, stay ahead of Amazon advertising trends, and bring fresh ideas to the table before anyone asks.

You should be comfortable operating across 20–50 actively advertised SKUs at a time, balancing performance across hero products, seasonal launches, long‑tail variations, and niche‑specific strategies.

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys solving complex PPC problems, thinking commercially, and continuously refining what “great” looks like on Amazon.

You’ll primarily focus on the US market, while also supporting English‑speaking marketplaces such as the UK, Canada, and future expansion markets.

In this role, you will:

  • Build, manage and continuously evolve advanced Amazon PPC structures across multiple brands and product categories
  • Own full‑funnel advertising strategy across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, video campaigns, and emerging Amazon ad formats
  • Develop proactive testing strategies around placements, keyword segmentation, search intent, campaign isolation, harvesting structures, and scaling approaches
  • Analyse performance trends across entire product portfolios — not just individual campaigns — to identify where we’re underinvesting, overspending, or missing market share opportunities
  • Lead PPC strategy for new product launches, seasonal pushes, inventory sell‑through campaigns, and ranking‑focused initiatives
  • Monitor how paid performance impacts organic ranking and continuously optimise for both profitability and long‑term account growth
  • Refine campaign architecture and naming conventions to improve scalability, reporting clarity, and optimisation efficiency across a growing catalogue
  • Bring new ideas, trends, and best practices to the business regularly — especially around evolving Amazon placements, AI‑driven search behaviour, Rufus, video ads, and changing shopper behaviour
  • Work closely with listings, creative, and account management to align advertising strategy with conversion rate optimisation and catalogue growth
  • Report on performance with clear commercial thinking — not just data, but what actions should happen next and why

Working Hours: This is a full‑time role and hours are CET (GMT +2).

You’ll report to Artem, our U.S. Marketplace Manager. Outside of running our U.S. operations, Artem is a professional cat owner so expect an occasional feline cameo on calls.

To excel in this role, you need:

  • Strong hands‑on Amazon PPC experience managing complex accounts independently
  • Experience managing advertising across multiple products, variations, or brands simultaneously — not just a handful of hero SKUs
  • Proven ability to structure and optimise campaigns strategically, not just maintain them operationally
  • Deep understanding of how PPC influences organic rank, keyword indexing, and long‑term catalogue growth
  • Strong commercial judgement around scaling, profitability, TACoS management, and market share opportunities
  • Experience testing and refining campaign structures based on performance data and changing Amazon trends
  • Confidence working across seasonal products, different niches, and shifting demand patterns
  • Ability to identify opportunities proactively and bring ideas forward independently
  • Strong analytical thinking paired with strong execution
  • Experience staying current with Amazon advertising updates, evolving best practices, and new campaign types
  • Comfortable managing 20–50 actively advertised SKUs simultaneously across different categories and seasonal cycles

Brownie points for:

  • Experience with Helium 10, Scale Insights, Bidx, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with DSP
  • Experience in competitive or seasonal niches
  • Basic understanding of listing optimisation and A+ content
  • Familiarity with Rufus, AI‑driven Amazon search changes, and evolving shopper behaviour trends
  • Experience with advanced video campaign optimisation
  • Experience managing PPC for brands doing $10M+ annual revenue
  • Experience working both in‑house and within an Amazon agency environment
  • Strong understanding of advanced campaign segmentation and scaling strategies
  • Experience balancing growth and profitability across larger SKU catalogues
  • Evidence of proactive testing, experimentation, and strategic thinking — not just account maintenance
  • Ability to explain not only what changes to make, but why they matter commercially

What’s in it for you?

  • $3,000 – $4,000 per month (gross; independent contractor)
  • Full‑time | Fully remote
  • 30 days paid holiday
  • Sick leave on request

We kindly ask you to apply only if you are happy to work remotely as an independent contractor.
